Oh, mighty Well, spring forth with life – no death shall enter,

Any wisdom, knowledge, truth, or righteousness originates in Jesus Christ. Fallen humanity can’t originate any of these. Some people thank God and praise Him for it, but others don’t. Those who refuse to thank and praise God for these gifts walk into darkness. Whenever you praise and glorify God, you come into His presence. Everything changes. You walk step by step into His Light. You experience a new level of wisdom and understanding. As you continue to praise and worship God, your life changes. You won’t live in fear or anger. You will know the difference between God’s voice and all the other voices. As you stay in God’s presence, His love and wisdom will flow through you in every part of your life.

OH LORD, LET US TAKE AUTHORITY

O Lord, let us take authority,
Over sin, sickness, death and the powers of hell.
Let Your gifts and Your ministries operate
According to the working of Your will.
Let the order of Your Kingdom be established.

If God’s people allow the Holy Spirit to lead them, do you think the Holy Spirit would contradict Himself and cause conflict? He’ll reveal the same thing to me as He reveals to you. The only conflict the Holy Spirit will cause is a conflict with lies and the old leaven of rationalized doctrine. The human mind automatically fills in the blanks when reading Scripture and locks into a faulty interpretation that seems to make perfect sense. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. It’s very religious. Someone may say, “God said” when God never spoke. However, God made a simple promise. “If you stand in My presence, I will speak to you.” So, how do we stand in His presence? Continually praise and thank Him. Focus on Him and glorify Him with your whole heart.

This is why Scripture says that if you think you know anything, you don’t know it as you ought. Even if you heard the revelation perfectly, it was in part. We know in part. Your mind will try to fill in the blanks. This takes no effort. It’s what the mind does automatically.

So, what’s the answer? Stay in God’s presence. Hold onto what you think you know very loosely. Hold onto Christ very tightly. Focus on Him. Let Him continually correct you. Let go of your pridefully held doctrines and affiliations with groups or denominations. Discern the body of Christ. You are on a journey. You have not yet arrived. God has more for you.

OH LORD, LET ME YIELD

God has delegated powerful authority to each born-again believer. We have barely scratched the surface of what God has provided. If only we believed! We do struggle to belief. We struggle to have faith. We lack faith because we lack God’s way of giving us His faith. Faith comes by hearing Him. We hear Him when we pay attention to Him. God has told us plainly through Scripture. “But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:16) “God has made it plain to them.” “For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him” (Romans 1:19 & 21) Everyone knows, but some will glorify God and give thanks to Him, and some refuse. “The true Light (Read from the beginning of the chapter, and Jesus is the true Light.) who gives light to every man . . .” (John 1:9) He gives light to every person. It’s the reason an Atheist can function and be productive. And yet, so many Atheists and Christians fail to acknowledge Him, glorify Him, and thank Him. Live your life glorifying and thanking Jesus Christ, and your life will change. “in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:6) You will have no question in your mind which way to go. “your ears will hear this command behind you: ‘This is the way. Walk in it.’” (Isaiah 20:21) Don’t ask God to prove Himself to you. He’s talking to you all the time. Just turn your attention to Him, glorify Him, respect Him, and thank Him. As you do this, allowing Him to move in you and through you, He will change you from glory to glory. Your vision will become clearer. His voice will become more plain with each step. It’s really that simple.

The enemy will bring a suggestion to your mind and then condemn you for the suggestion the enemy brought. He was a liar from the beginning. He’s lying to you. He’s trying to trick you. Sometimes, we forget that God is forming us into one unified temple.

Sometimes, we forget that God is forming us into one unified temple. That’s the goal, but we get distracted. The struggle to be righteous may be the biggest distraction. Second to that may be the struggle to be right on doctrine. Both of these exalt fleshly efforts rather than exalting God. Let’s look at where righteousness comes from. Let’s just call righteousness love. Love fulfils the whole law. But let’s understand love. God is love. Are you going to try to self-generate God? Where does true doctrine come from? Let’s just call truth. That’s easier to understand. Jesus Christ is the truth. Are you going to try to self-generate Jesus? Somehow, we have to get to these things, but where does it start? We say we need faith, and then we struggle fruitlessly to have faith. If we try to self-generate faith, we end up with a make-believe faith. Faith comes by hearing God speak. The word in Greek is rhema, and it means a spoken word or a statement. Rhema is God leading us. The Father speaks His Word into our hearts. And Jesus Christ is the Word. That’s why you have Jesus Christ in your heart if you’re born again. You were born by the Word as the Father spoke His Word into your heart. You had to receive it, but you didn’t create it. So then, how do we hear the Father and know it’s Him and not our own mind or the voice of a demon? (We’re really getting down to it here and not pulling any punches.) God has promised us that anyone who diligently seeks Him will find Him. That’s a promise. In fact, God says no one can please Him unless they believe He exists and they believe that He rewards anyone who diligently seeks Him. In other words, He will reveal Himself and His will to those who diligently seek Him. If God weren’t all-powerful and all-wise, this would be impossible, but now we can find Him.

He’s not looking for those who have never made a mistake. God is forming us into one unified temple. That starts with us diligently seeking Him. God inhabits the praises of His people. If we praise and thank Him, we stand in His presence. We need to live in a state of praise and thanksgiving to God. Then, we will be in His presence. In His presence, He will lead, teach, and correct us. Our part is to receive it. That gives us access to His grace. His grace does His works through us. That’s love. That’s joy. That’s peace. That’s gentleness. That’s patience. That’s goodness, meekness, inner strength, and every other good thing. Our part is to yield to the Spirit to the point that He can say His words and do His acts through us. We can’t have that experience and remain the same as we were. We’re changed. This is a walk from glory to glory by the Holy Spirit. Each time God leads us, He shows us a little bit about who we are in Him and how we fit into the body of Christ. The body of Christ is God’s holy temple. God is transforming us from glory to glory into the image and likeness of Christ. And as we’re formed into the stones that make up that holy temple.

OH LORD MAKE ME WHAT YOU’D HAVE ME BE

And when I struggle, Lord, I ask that I may feel Your grace.
