Don’t Get the Works Before the Grace

You can get mixed up with works. So-called “works of piety” can be works I decide to do instead of works God leads me to and does through me. My works can be against God’s will. Some people say, “I’m going to do this for God,” but God never asked them to do it. Some people say, “I’m going to do random acts of kindness,” but God’s works are never random. Some people say, “I’m going to pay it forward,” but my righteousness is like some filthy rags to God. Fake “works of piety” can be a way I feed my pride and get recognition. Fake “works of piety” are just one more way to do what I want to do instead of doing what God wants me to do.

Suppose a dad tells his son to mow the lawn. The son starts painting the house a different color instead. Has the son done the will of the dad?

Let me emphasize it again. Good works are a gift from God to you. Good works are not a gift from you to God. It’s easy to get the effect before the cause.

Have you seen the glory of the Celestial?
I have seen drunks, harlots, thieves, rich, poor, high and low pass through the Potter’s hands and watched the terrestrial take on the glory of the Celestial.
The glory of the Celestial is not a vision, but when He imparts the Celestial, mortality is being shaped by Immortality.
As you have borne the image of the earthly, you shall also bear the image of the CELESTIAL.
[The image of the CELESTIAL] is not some halo or special garbing of the body, but it is the life of God flowing through these mortal bodies ever changing them into His image….Life overcoming death.
[The image of the CELESTIAL is] not dying so you can live but living so you can die, walking in the Spirit so you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
The emphasis is not on dying [to the flesh] but being made alive.
You set your mind on ever dying to the flesh and you will labor all your life and never attain it, but you set your heart to walk in the Spirit and you will.
As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God.
Live in the freedom for which Christ purchased you.

When you never knew why you were saved and for what purpose, then the suddenness of a trumpet blast, spiritual gifts have been imparted, your life is one of purpose.
I have seen the glory of the Celestial in the Church which is His body, when there will be one fold and one Shepherd.
When the earth is now filled with disorder, then there will be order.
Where now homes and families are shaken as a reed in the wind, there is a glory in the order of the Celestial.
The Celestial belongs to the home.
The Celestial belongs to the individual.
The Celestial belongs to the nations.
The Celestial belongs to all of creation.
The lamb will lie down with the lion.
The nations of the earth will learn war no more.
The glory of this peace does not rest in wealth or fame, being rich or poor, weak or strong, schooled or unschooled, but it is in Him.
You may know all the answers so that you appear smart but have no peace.
You will never have peace without its PRINCE.
You can never, never, have peace without God’s SON.
When the Son of Righteousness comes with healing in His wings, a peace will cover the Earth as the waters cover the sea.
I know He will come at the end of the age, but He will come now to you.
He is not the Resurrection of tomorrow only but of today.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me though he were dead yet shall he live, and he that believe in me though he were dead yet shall he live, and he that believeth in me shall never die; BELIEVEST THOU THIS???”

How strange it is these days; God gives men gifts to make it possible for them to grow, and all of a sudden, they become headlines of the press, shouting what wonders they are.
Spiritual gifts are not given because you are something but to allow you to grow into the Celestial.
When the glory of the Celestial pours through the clay and operates a gift, the clay will glow like gold coming out of the fire.
When you never knew why you were saved and for what purpose, then the suddenness of a trumpet blast, spiritual gifts have been imparted, your life is one of purpose.
I have seen the glory of the Celestial in the Church which is His body, when there will be one fold and one Shepherd.
When the earth is now filled with disorder, then there will be order.
Where now homes and families are shaken as a reed in the wind, there is a glory in the order of the Celestial.
The Celestial belongs to the home.
The Celestial belongs to the individual.
The Celestial belongs to the nations.
The Celestial belongs to all of creation.
The lamb will lie down with the lion.
The nations of the earth will learn war no more.
The glory of this peace does not rest in wealth or fame, being rich or poor, weak or strong, schooled or unschooled, but it is in Him.
You may know all the answers so that you appear smart but have no peace.
You will never have peace without its PRINCE.
You can never, never, have peace without God’s SON.
When the Son of Righteousness comes with healing in His wings, a peace will cover the Earth as the waters cover the sea.
I know He will come at the end of the age, but He will come now to you.
He is not the Resurrection of tomorrow only but of today.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me though he were dead yet shall he live, and he that believe in me though he were dead yet shall he live, and he that believeth in me shall never die; BELIEVEST THOU THIS???”

As the human body has many members and yet is one body, so also is Christ. Christ is a Head in Heaven and a Body on earth. Discern Christ the Body.
There is a subtle danger in the superstar Christian leader. The teacher, prophet, singer, or any other gift, ministry, or office who is lifted up as having preeminence presents a great danger.
Church unity will require discerning the Body of Christ and the voice of Christ.
Church unity will require turning from the godless devices of counsel and information of the world. You can’t fathom the evil behind these.
Church unity will require each member to be transformed into the image and likeness of Christ.
The cleansing of God’s Holy Temple is not a small side issue with God. God has a zeal for His Temple, His Bride, His Body.
As you look at the order of the Church in Scripture, God is speaking to you.
The strongholds in your mind will work to nullify what God is saying through Scripture.
You may hear a message that says the precepts and orders of Scripture no longer apply. Ask, “What makes you think so?”
You may hear a message that says God will never be able to restore the precepts and orders of Scripture to His Church. Ask, “What makes you think so?”

Righteousness: It’s part of your salvation. God’s gift to you.

As you have borne the image of the earthly, you shall also bear the image of the CELESTIAL.
[The image of the CELESTIAL] is not some halo or special garbing of the body, but it is the life of God flowing through these mortal bodies ever changing them into His image….Life overcoming death.
[The image of the CELESTIAL is] not dying so you can live but living so you can die, walking in the Spirit so you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
The emphasis is not on dying [to the flesh] but being made alive.

God doesn’t force Himself on anyone, but whoever will may come.

Whoever seeks Jesus finds Jesus. The Father won’t give you the wrong spirit if you ask Him for the Holy Spirit. Jesus made this very clear in The Sermon on the Mount. And He said, “My sheep know My voice.” We only get confused when we want our own way and we want what WE want rather than what He wants. Walk in the Spirit and you won’t fulfill the desires of the fleshly nature.

You’re not saved by righteousness but to righteousness.
