A chain of thought is only as strong as its weakest link. Yielding to Christ results in heightened spiritual senses. Yielding to flesh results in inability to discern between reality and make-believe.
The more we yield to Christ, the more Christ is formed in us, the better we can hear Him. The more we yield to the flesh, the less we know.
