Oh What a Plan
Adam had become a servant, by obeying that old serpent,
So His children are all captive–death is the end of every man.
Jesus perfectly submitted. He obeyed His Father always.
Never would He yield to Satan; Broke the curse for every man.

God’s only plan! He has one way of salvation.

In the church God showed His wisdom, but man soon made a different vision.
God’s foundation then removing, man rejected God’s own plan.
Joel’s worms destroyed Christ’s body, but God began His restoration.
Always patient with man’s weakness, line on line He gave command.

Listen now to Christ. He’s calling. Listen if your heart is open.
The great Shepherd now is speaking. He sees all His sheep as one.
Christ will bring His sheep to one fold, He will bring His own together.
As they listen to their Shepherd, they will follow God’s own Son.

A body, now, our Lord is forming, every element restoring,
Apostles, prophets, elders, deacons, gifts and ministries again.
One pattern, God has for Christ’s body, so living water can flow from us.
Life now flows between the members, growing fruit and washing clean.

We were born into that body, born again to grow in Jesus.
Growing up into His fullness. Growing to a perfect man.
He is dwelling, now, within us. All our flesh He’s stripping from us,
That His light may shine out from us. We cannot, but, Lord, You can.

He will place us as His partners, As His manifested workers.
Then as full-grown sons He’ll set us. As one body we will stand.
Every enemy we vanquish–Death, the last to be defeated.
When at last sore death is beaten, Jesus shall return again.
