If you fall back into the same sin, confess it again. When you confess it to Christ, He will pardon you and set you back on His Pathway. God’s patience is more than you can imagine. He said we, being weak humans, should forgive someone seventy times seven if that person hurt us the same way all those times. That’s 490 times. Won’t God’s forgiveness be even greater than that? God is overcoming your fleshly nature with each submission. You may have setbacks. Never defend yourself when the Holy Spirit convicts you. Confess your fault and turn from your wicked ways by the power and authority of the Holy Spirit and His mighty grace. Keep your eyes on the prize. God is changing you to be holy as your Heavenly Father is holy. That won’t happen overnight. The only time it’s hopeless is if you harden your heart against the Holy Spirit.

Therefore there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. ~ Romans 8:1
