You Need a Personal Relationship
Some people think Christianity is about religion and it’s a one and done deal. They’re born again, and they say, “I’m saved!” Now, it’s just about getting other people “saved.” Of course, you should go to church and obey certain rules, but that’s it. And they are born again–born as babies.
Others receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and think they have arrived. It doesn’t work that way. Remember the foolish virgins who had no oil in their vessels? You need that moment-to-moment contact with the Most High. You must stand in His presence and listen to his Voice. And listening isn’t enough. You must believe, not doubt, and then allow His to say His words through you and do His works through you according to His leading. This is the key to the manifestation of the sons of God, which will be maturity in Christ.
