Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.” (John 3:19-21) Some are coming to the Light. Some are running from the Light. Some want to stay in some sort of religious twilight. They don’t want to hear God’s voice. They don’t like what He has to say. They want to keep their old presuppositions. Like the Children of Israel at Sinai, they don’t want to stand in God’s presence. They just want to know some intellectually stimulating opinions. They want to be entertained.
