All reasoning without Christ is irrational.

All reasoning without Christ is irrational.

All reasoning without Christ is irrational.

All reasoning without Christ is irrational. That seems like a strong statement, and your mind might challenge it. Ask yourself whether it’s rational to make up stuff and call the made-up stuff true. Suppose someone comes up to you with some claim you never heard before and you ask that person how they know their claim is true. Suppose they tell you it’s true because they just made it up. Is that rational? Philosophers have been trying to find a way the human mind could reason to truth for thousands of years. We can watch trends and see what seems to work by watching outcomes. Every once in a while we find out something we thought might work doesn’t work. Then, the “intellectuals” say something like this: “We used to think x worked, but NOW we KNOW that x doesn’t work.” That’s not the same as truth. It might be true. It might not be true. They don’t even know, but look at who is getting the glory. The human mind. Here’s the shocker. ALL knowledge and wisdom are hidden in Christ Jesus. He reveals knowledge and wisdom to whomever He wills. He is the Light, and He lights every person, even those who grab the glory for themselves and use the gift of wisdom and knowledge they received to make themselves rich rather than blessing others with it. Christ is merciful in the hope they will change and turn to Him. If they don’t, they will eventually walk into darkness and lose the little bit of light they had.
