What’s the difference between God creating the heavens and the earth in the beginning and God creating a clean heart in you? In the beginning, the creation couldn’t say, “No.” You can say, “No.” Now, God is looking for those who will listen to Him and yield to Him willingly. God is looking for you to listen to Him and yield to Him willingly.

Sweeping Out the Darkness

Some people have said you can make yourself pure by hunting down every stray thought and locking it down. They say you should react to every thought that isn’t from God, capture it, and bind it. Perhaps you grab them and put them into a box in your mind. Where do these theologians get that idea? It may come from this verse:

and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. ~ 2 Corinthians 10:5

How do you take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ? If you try to do this with human effort, you’ll make yourself crazy. It’s like trying to NOT think about elephants. The more you try to NOT think about elephants, the more they jump around in your mind. If you don’t like elephants, try NOT thinking about the sin that easily tempts you. You know your sin. I know mine.

You will frustrate yourself trying to sweep darkness out of a room. You must turn on the Light. The two verses before verse 5 tell you more about this spiritual warfare and turning on the Light.

No one has seen anything like what’s coming. Don’t try to imagine it. You can’t.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father” (John 14:12 KJV).

What are the limits of God’s power in His people? Those who overcome their fleshly natures and have Christ formed within must follow Christ. They are limited to the leading of the Holy Spirit. However, if the Holy Spirit asks them to move a mountain, the mountain will move. If the Holy Spirit asks them to raise someone from the dead, that dead person will come back to life. God isn’t limited, and Christ unveiled in His people isn’t limited. Those who doubt create their limits. Unbelief stops godly progress. God is calling mature sons and daughters to rule and reign in His kingdom.

Assumptions as proof. Really?

Any claim is only as strong as its weakest supporting statement. All science has been taken over by godless thinkers who try to enforce godless thinking throughout the scientific community. They have set up three assumptions. To make these assumptions seem more real, they don’t call them assumptions. They call them axioms. They define “axiom” like this:

– A self-evident or universally recognized truth; a maxim.
– An established rule, principle, or law.
– A self-evident principle or one that is accepted as true without proof as the basis for argument; a postulate.

An axiom is a dogmatic belief that’s based on nothing at all. To say that something is self-evident is irrational. Nothing is self-evident. If you can see that something is true, you must have a reason to believe it. What makes you think it’s true? Oh! You called it an “axiom” so you don’t have to answer that question. Claiming that something is “self-evident” is a way to tell a lie and claim no one has the right to ask questions about it. The axiom is an established rule, principle, or law. Who established it? Not God. God works through revelation, not human claims of axioms.

What are the so-called “axioms” of science that all of science must include as a basis for thought?
Materialism: The claim that the material world is all that exists. No God. No angels. No demons. No heaven. No hell.
Naturalism: The claim that God does nothing. No miracles. No reason to pray.
Uniformitarianism: The claim that everything continues from the beginning as it is now. The present is the key to the past. No creation event. No worldwide Flood.

From these godless axioms, other godless assumptions arise. Humans can rationalize anything. And yet, God, in His mercy, shows these scientists His wisdom. They don’t dare to give God the glory for these revelations. Those who do give God the glory are quickly silenced. The scientific journals are part of the false prophet system, and the message is controlled. Intellect is exalted. God is eliminated. And it’s all based on assumptions. Assumptions labeled “axioms.”

MANIFEST THE LIGHT

Manifest the light, the life of Christ,
For the world must see Him,
And as He appears, the groaning captives shall go free.
Bring about the change, perform the mighty counsel of His will,
Manifest the Light, the life of Christ,
Let all flesh be still.

If the Holy Spirit leads us, that means we listen and follow.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14 KJV).

If the Holy Spirit leads us, that means we listen and follow. As we listen and follow, the Holy Spirit changes us by degrees. He is bringing us to “the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God.” He continues to transfigure us “to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” In that blessed state, God will deliver the world from the bondage of corruption through us and bring it into the glorious liberty of the mature children of God. The fallen flesh is more confortable with a set of rules, principles, or laws than it is with allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and give power for righteousness. The flesh can interpret rules, principles, and laws so it can remain in rebellion against God. You can’t reform the flesh. You must die to self and live to Christ. When you come into Christ’s presence, His Spirit leads you. When you receive His leading His faith comes to you and gives you access to His grace. When you yield to His grace, His grace says His words and does His acts through you. When you yield to Him in this way, the fleshly nature loses control a bit and Christ is built up in you. That’s the only way God will transfigure you into the image and likeness of Christ.

The Holy Spirit has been leading us toward a coming event the Bible calls “the manifestation of the sons of God.”

The Holy Spirit has been leading us toward a coming event the Bible calls “the manifestation of the sons of God.” As we have walked, the Holy Spirit has been transfiguring us: growing Christ in us while removing the fleshly veil.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the Glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:18-19).

The word “manifestation” is “apokalupsis” in Greek, and it speaks of removing the fleshly veil. This isn’t an event that just happens for no reason. The Holy Spirit has been leading us toward this event for decades. We grow into it. As we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we come to maturity. An argument from ignorance is just a sneaky way to give the illusion that speculations are real.

Skeptics use arguments from ignorance a lot. It’s just a sneaky way to give the illusion that the skeptic’s speculations are real. An argument from ignorance fallacy often takes the form of a question (known as an ad ignorantiam question fallacy). The fallacy isn’t obvious because it’s implied rather than stated. This fallacy can deceive naive students in universities. The skeptic is suggesting that you must be able to answer the question or they are right and you are wrong.

For example, an atheist may ask why there is evil in God’s creation if the Creator is good. We know God gave humans and angels free will, so they can rebel against God. We could say that it may be that God is willing to endure a few thousand years of rebellion to bring His creation to a better state than what existed in the Garden of Eden, but we don’t know that for certain. We don’t know anything God hasn’t specifically revealed.

But our relationship with God isn’t based on knowing all the answers. That’s why the skeptic’s question doesn’t prove what the skeptic thinks it proves.

We know God through Jesus. God leads, teaches, and corrects us moment by moment every day. The Skeptic bases all skeptical unbeliefs on speculations and dogmatic statements. If we don’t have an answer to a question, that doesn’t undermine our relationship with Christ.

If the skeptic can’t answer a question, it doesn’t disprove the skeptic’s dogmatic statements. The skeptic may claim evolution is a fact or that God can’t be known. If you ask the skeptic how the skeptic knows what the skeptic claims, the skeptic can answer, but the skeptic can’t prove his or her answer is true. The skeptic can never give a rational answer based on absolute truth. Truth is absolute by definition. Without truth, rational thought is impossible. The fact that the skeptic can’t answer doesn’t prove the skeptic wrong. It just proves that the skeptic’s dogmatic statements have no substance.

If you know Jesus Christ, He is absolute. That relationship with Christ is real and absolute. A skeptic is then left with the ridiculous position of claiming you aren’t experiencing what you are experiencing or else claiming that Almighty God can’t communicate clearly or overcome our fleshly weakness to make His revelation known to us. The skeptic has no foundation for thought. You do since you know Jesus, the ONLY Source of all wisdom, knowledge, understanding, love, and goodness.

The Light the Holy Spirit is intensifying in us is Christ.

“A Light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel” (Luke 2:32 KJV).

We also know God has called us to grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13 KJV).
You are children of Light if you continue to listen to the One Who IS Light and yield to His Spirit. The darkness won’t blind those who walk in the righteousness of Christ. Those who are walking in the Spirit don’t have to fear the judgments that God is bringing on the earth.

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of Light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Argument from Ignorance Fallacy

Some skeptics ask us questions, hoping we won’t know the answer. They reason this way. “If I can ask a question about God or the Bible, and you don’t know the answer, then God doesn’t exist and the Bible isn’t reliable.” Don’t they realize that, even if we didn’t know the answer to some question about the God of the Bible, that wouldn’t prove anything about anything? It’s a fact that we don’t know much compared to what God knows. We know God exists because we know Him through Jesus Christ. We know the Bible is reliable because God’s Spirit tells us the Bible is reliable. And He speaks to us through the Bible and every means of divine revelation mentioned in the Bible. We don’t worship the Bible, but the Bible is one of the ways God speaks to us.

In the Bible, a ministry is Christ in you.

Many Christians mean “an organization” when they speak of “a ministry.” In the Bible, a ministry is Christ in you. The ministry grows out of the gift, which is Christ in you. The gift was given through prophecy and the laying on of hands of a presbytery. The presbytery is a gathering of elders God has called for the purpose of laying on hands and imparting spiritual gifts. Gifts are active in Christians without this impartation, but the impartation always gives more clarity and authority to the gift. A word of warning: some have taken it on themselves to lay on hands and prophesy over people when God never called them.

God has a plan and a method. God’s sovereignty and your responsibility work together.

Today, the contrast between Light and darkness has intensified beyond what we would have thought possible

Joel also spoke of a day of darkness, but like morning on the mountaintops. Those on the mountaintops experience Light, but thick darkness below. May we live in the mountain tops in Christ where His Day is dawning.

At the same time, some will walk in the Light while others walk in gross darkness. Everyone will see the visible glory of God in His people. Some will come to the Light just as some have always come to the Light. Others will run from the Light into darkness. And they will find darkness beyond what mankind has ever found. Those who walk in the darkness will completely lose the distinction between right and wrong and between reality and make-believe. Look around. Many have already lost that distinction. Today, that contrast between Light and darkness has intensified beyond what we would have thought possible. God knows all about the current darkness of the world and the Light that’s beginning to rise in intensity in His called-out people. We know Christ is that Light, and He lives within every person who’s born again. In the church, some are seeking to listen to God’s leading and yield to the Holy Spirit as never before. Others want nothing to do with the Holy Spirit of the leading of God. They go so far as to say, “God no longer leads anyone.” They want to do what they want to do. They are satisfied with a religion that strokes the ego, entertains the flesh, and stimulates the intellect. Some Christians want everything to stay as it is. They want nothing to change. Of course, that’s an empty hope. We are at the time of decision-making now. In our present condition, we haven’t fully conformed to the image and likeness of Christ. And we can’t be satisfied with that condition. The Holy Spirit wants to change us completely into the image of Christ. The forces of spiritual wickedness want to destroy humanity. Speculative theology and speculative science–both are dangerous. Consider what speculation is. It’s the opposite of divine revelation. Speculation comes from one of two places. It may be something the fallen human mind makes up, the mind that is deceitful and desperately wicked beyond what we could discover. This is the mind that submitted to the devil in the Garden of Eden and is still under that curse. Speculation may also come directly from the influence of a demonic power or principality. Those are the two sources that oppose divine revelation. So, we always have a choice between these three souces. Remember that Christ is the Light Who lights every person. He’s always there. We only need to acknowledge Him, receive and submit to what He is giving us, and thank Him for it.

The ministry is Christ in you. The Christ in you is your ministry. It has nothing to do with the natural or any natural abilities, although Christ may use your natural ability. In the end, the natural will fade and give way to the Spirit of Christ.
