Worldviews deflect truth. Jesus deflects lies.

Whatever is not from faith is sin.

No need to use circular reasoning. We know the Bible is God’s word because God reveals this fact to us.

We don’t have a way to self-generate truth

Worldview versus Revelation

Humans have a limited ability to observe. We do the best we can. How do you interpret what you observe? You can choose to use your own mind, or you can ask God about it. If you choose to use your own mind, your mind filters out much of what you observe. You filter out whatever doesn’t match your preconceptions. You built that filter slowly using your existing assumptions and presuppositions and the influences and pressures of the devil, the culture, and your sinful flesh. And you continue to build that filter. As you observe the world around you, you can only perceive what you already believe. Anything ouyside of what you already believe seems weird and unreal. That means you get an impression of the world that almost perfectly reflects your existing worldview. You use that impression to confirm your worldview. That’s what confirmation bias is all about. On the other hand, you can listen to Jesus.

Through Scripture, God set the order of multiple apostles and prophets who receive His revelation.

Beware of “Christian Rationalism.” The human mind cannot self-generate Truth.

Beware of “Christian Materialism.” The spiritual realm is real. Heaven is within, and it’s at hand.

Only the Holy Spirit can show you what is true and what is false.

Beware of “Christian Naturalism.” God is supernatural.

The false voices can’t make the true voices false, but they will try to deceive you.

God is teaching you how to appropriate His power for His gift of righteousness in you.

Many false voices are telling you clever lies, but you must know the difference between lies and truth.

Keep in mind the many ways God speaks: through the Bible, brothers, sisters, and every means of divine revelation mentioned in Scripture.
