Even False Prophets
Even the false prophets were given this promise in Jeremiah 23:21-22
“I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.”
So God would even speak to the false prophets if they would listen to Him. As we stand in the council of Christ, we begin to see Christ because He takes away the fleshly veil.
2 Corinthians 3:16 says, ” When one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
It’s talking about how this fleshly veil keeps people from seeing the Scripture as it actually is. Because of that veil, all we see are the preconceived ideas in our fleshly minds. Without turning to the Lord and standing in His counsel, not even Scripture can help us. We would interpret it wrong. Millions have interpreted Scripture wrong for the same reason, and the results have been disastrous.
