Faith accesses God’s grace.

Faith accesses God’s grace.

Faith accesses God’s grace.

God is conforming you to the image and likeness of Jesus Christ right now from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord as you allow Him to draw back the veil of your flesh so you can see His glory as if looking at an image in a mirror. (see 2 Corinthians 3:18) God mentions a mirror three times in the New Testament. In all three cases, He’s using the mirror as a type or shadow of something that He’s doing in the spiritual realm. He says a person who doesn’t do what he or she hears God lead him to do is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. (see James 1:23-27) God leads, teaches, and corrects you. When God speaks to you, He speaks His vision of hope. In God’s vision of hope, you see yourself, but this is a spiritual mirror, so you don’t see your flesh. You see the Christ formed in you. You identify with the Christ in you. And you see how you fit into the Church. You also see what is and is not the Church.

God, speaking through Paul, says everything you currently do and know is in part, but when you have complete knowledge, then the partial is done away. (see 1 Corinthians 13:8-12) You may now speak by the Holy Spirit sporadically, but the completeness is coming when you will be complete in Christ and totally conformed to Him and His will. Then, you will have perfect discernment. God’s leading (that’s like looking into a mirror) is changing us. (2 Corinthians 3:18) You are overcoming with each new leading if you listen and yield yourself to God’s Spirit. God speaks, you hear, and faith comes. Jesus Christ, the utterance of God, authors God’s faith in you. Faith accesses God’s grace. God’s grace says God’s words and does God’s acts through you if you do your part. Your part is to yield the members of your body to God’s righteousness and allow God’s grace to work through you. As you yield to the Holy Spirit and God’s righteousness, you allow God’s Spirit to plant the Holy Seed (the Word, the Christ) into your heart. God’s Spirit transforms you.
