Step #1 They Won’t Listen to God

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you ~ Hosea 4:6a Berean Study Bible

Step #2 They Become More Faithless

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God ~ Hebrews 3:12 New King James Version

Step #3 The Flesh Acts

And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. Step #4 They Sow Satan’s Weeds

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Step #5 They Become More Enslaved to Sin

Those seeds become strongholds that bring slavery. Satan has a firm grip, and his slave won’t listen to God. This cycle repeats unless God breaks it. However, we must cooperate with God.
