The means is the cause. It’s easy to confuse the cause and effect, but the elements are there. Everything starts with God leading. You acknowledge God in deep respect. You honor Him and thank Him. Then God gives you faith, and faith brings you to God’s grace. That’s true of every case you just looked at. It’s true of the Gospel, the Law, communion, baptism, prayer, fasting, seeking the face of God, and any work God does through you as a result of His leading, faith, and grace.

Satan will tell you grace is something grace is not. Satan will say grace is just God pardoning your sins. Satan will say God’s grace means you can do whatever you want and it makes no difference.

Satan will try to convince you that you can get grace some other way than through faith. Satan will say you have to do works of piety to get grace. Satan will try to make grace into less than it is. Satan will try to get you to believe grace doesn’t give you divine power and authority for righteousness and warfare against powers of darkness. Satan has a lot of lies to tell you about grace.

The Holy Spirit is here to make all that Christ purchased available now.

The Holy Spirit is here to make all that Christ purchased available now.

The Holy Spirit is here to make all that Christ purchased available now. (H. Holt)

There is a life that never fades where sickness is never known; where the lame, blind, and deaf are never seen; where fear and hate are strangers.
There is a life that is so full that after one thousand years has passed it will be as but the morning.
This life is not the patching up of this mortal but the bursting forth out of the death of corruption, the incorruptible bloom, pure white shot through with Calvary’s red, makes it aglow with eternal life.
Today the masses of believers linger in these porches waiting for the moving of the waters so they can be healed or filled with the Spirit or know or what Spiritual gifts they have or waiting for God to take them home for today holds nothing for them. Did Jesus wait? No.
The Holy Spirit is here to make all that Christ purchased available now.
We have no magic or power of our own, but He came into the world to reveal Christ in you.
He (Christ) is the One God has sent to make known all the wisdom of the ages.
He (Christ) is the great revelator of the power of Christ.
He (Christ) wrote the Book and He will reveal its wonders.
As He (Christ) moved over the earth in the beginning of time, He will move over you now to unveil Christ.
Endless Life is in His (Christ’s) hands.
He (Christ) is with us now, the Spirit of the most high God to make all that Christ has purchased for us, ours now.
You may be able to believe in endless life after death in the distant unknown, but He has come to make it available now.
All I can say, “May all members of this glorious body of Christ come together so the glory of all ages can fall upon us.”
He (Christ) alone can separate His sheep from the machinations of me.

Strongholds of the mind must fall. God will shake them.

God wants to renew your Mind so He can transfigure you into the image and likeness of Christ with power and authority for righteousness.

As for me I shall behold Thy face in righteousness

As for me I shall behold Thy face in righteousness

https://freegospelmusic.org/songs/as-for-me-i-shall-behold-thy-face-in-righteousness/

As for me I shall behold,
Thy face in righteousness,
And I shall be satisfied,
And I shall be satisfied,
When I awake,
With Thy likeness.

As we all with open face,
Beholding as in a glass,
The glory of the Lord,
Are changed into the same image,
From glory to glory even as by,
The Spirit of the Lord.

Take away the veil of the flesh.
See the church with eyes of the Lord;
See the glory of the Lord.
Be transfigured to His image,
From glory to glory even as by,
the Spirit of the Lord

As we discern His Body, His Temple,
Each part set in their right place.
Though hidden from the world,
His glory is revealed,
From glory to glory as we begin,
To behold more and more of His face.

Yield to His Spirit, from faith unto faith,
‘Til His pattern is the only one.
The flesh shall all vanish,
In the light of His glory,
from glory to glory, transfigured by,
The Spirit of the son.

God’s Spirit transforms you.

God’s Spirit transforms you.

God’s Spirit transforms you.

God is conforming you to the image and likeness of Jesus Christ right now from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord as you allow Him to draw back the veil of your flesh so you can see His glory as if looking at an image in a mirror. (see 2 Corinthians 3:18) God mentions a mirror three times in the New Testament. In all three cases, He’s using the mirror as a type or shadow of something that He’s doing in the spiritual realm. He says a person who doesn’t do what he or she hears God lead him to do is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. (see James 1:23-27) God leads, teaches, and corrects you. When God speaks to you, He speaks His vision of hope. In God’s vision of hope, you see yourself, but this is a spiritual mirror, so you don’t see your flesh. You see the Christ formed in you. You identify with the Christ in you. And you see how you fit into the Church. You also see what is and is not the Church.

God, speaking through Paul, says everything you currently do and know is in part, but when you have complete knowledge, then the partial is done away. (see 1 Corinthians 13:8-12) You may now speak by the Holy Spirit sporadically, but the completeness is coming when you will be complete in Christ and totally conformed to Him and His will. Then, you will have perfect discernment. God’s leading (that’s like looking into a mirror) is changing us. (2 Corinthians 3:18) You are overcoming with each new leading if you listen and yield yourself to God’s Spirit. God speaks, you hear, and faith comes. Jesus Christ, the utterance of God, authors God’s faith in you. Faith accesses God’s grace. God’s grace says God’s words and does God’s acts through you if you do your part. Your part is to yield the members of your body to God’s righteousness and allow God’s grace to work through you. As you yield to the Holy Spirit and God’s righteousness, you allow God’s Spirit to plant the Holy Seed (the Word, the Christ) into your heart. God’s Spirit transforms you.

Different groups believe different teachings about the means of grace, and they aren’t all wrong. When you look at it from another angle, you find faith is the means of grace.

Works Spring From Grace—Not the Other Way Around

There’s no conflict. Works don’t conflict with grace. Works spring from grace. I’ll repeat it once more. God speaks. God gives you faith. Faith accesses grace. Grace does the works. Your part is to stop fighting against God as He does all of this in and through you.
