The mighty Word of God the Father used to create the World lives in you and has become your identity. No longer do you identify with the fleshly nature, but you are the Christ nature. He does this by speaking the Word to you. He leads you. Faith comes as the Word authors faith in you. Faith gives you authority for whatever God told you when He led you by His Word. However, authority isn’t enough. You also need God’s power. And God’s power for righteousness is His grace. The faith that the Word authored in you gives you access to the power of grace, and grace does God’s work though you. The Word finishes your faith through works, but you must yield the members of your body to His righteousness since He won’t force Himself on you. When you yield, the Holy Spirit plants the Holy Seed of the Word in the good ground of your heart, and you are transfigured a bit to be like Jesus. You are changed. Christ in you has become more, and your fleshly nature has become less. The Light of the World has become brighter in your heart, and the darkness has lost its power over you.

The strongholds in your mind will fall if you are faithful to allow the Holy Spirit to conform you to the image and likeness of Christ.

Never forget. God speaks. You hear. Faith comes. That’s why faith has authority. Jesus Christ, Who is the Word spoken by the Father, authors faith in every person who listens to the rhema of God. Faith can also be a special gift to some. Not only that, but faith is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. If faith comes as a fruit of the Spirit, it comes by hearing. If faith comes as a gift of the Spirit, it comes by hearing. The faith to be born again comes by hearing. Any faith you have comes by hearing God leading, teaching, or correcting you. God can speak to you through the Bible. As God speaks through the Bible, He tells you about many of the other ways He speaks to you. No matter how God speaks to you, God’s faith will come if you listen.
