Don’t take on the mindset “If you can’t beat them join them.” Don’t give up on the brink of a miracle.

We’re on a life-long journey into truth and righteousness. We must not stop now.

God also directs us in the seemingly insignificant decisions in our daily lives.

God reveals reality through observations of His creation. He tells us this in the first chapter of Romans.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand.

Human thought without Christ: Human thought pulls ideas out of imagination, which is haphazard. Divine revelation isn’t haphazard.

The foundation for thought: In our individual walks, we Christ-followers do wander from the way and do commit fallacies sometimes.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Well, if learning about logic and fallacies isn’t going to help, how do we keep persuaders from deceiving us?

Rejoice! The ungodly refuse to thank God or glorify Him. And yet, the unthankfulness of the ungodly doesn’t stop God from taking care of them.

Know Jesus; Know Truth. There’s a reason ungodly thinkers can only understand the terms superficially but have no understanding of how to apply those memorized definitions rationally.

How Logic Fails: God created logic and He tries to reason with us. The sinful human nature makes us twist logic.

Godless thinking always fails. Humans invest an amazing amount of time and effort trying to know the truth. But ungodly thinkers can never find truth.

Discernment: Ungodly thinkers make no distinction between revealed truth and made-up stuff.

They know: When God says He reveals Himself to every person, He includes those who resist Him.

Ungodly thinkers have to base all their thinking on fallacies. They have no choice since they can’t reason to the truth.

Science and philosophy: It makes sense for ungodly thinkers to avoid scientific issues since science isn’t on their side, and philosophy can’t help them either.

Neither logic nor science has any basis in the ungodly thinker’s worldview, but both logic and science make perfect sense for the person Christ is leading, teaching, and correcting.

We’re searching for truth. Ungodly thinkers sometimes try to make this search into a game of wits, but this search isn’t a game.

Christ is our wisdom and truth. The English word “logic” comes from the Greek word “logos.” God uses the word “logos” in referring to Jesus Christ in the Bible—Jesus is the Logos.

Only a few verses of the New Testament deal with being born again. We have to be born again. Now, we must grow up into the Head.
