Speculative theology and speculative science–both are dangerous.

Speculative theology and speculative science--both are dangerous.

Speculative theology and speculative science–both are dangerous.

Speculative theology and speculative science–both are dangerous. Consider what speculation is. It’s the opposite of divine revelation. Speculation comes from one of two places. It may be something the fallen human mind makes up, the mind that is deceitful and desperately wicked beyond what we could discover. This is the mind that submitted to the devil in the Garden of Eden and is still under that curse. Speculation may also come directly from the influence of a demonic power or principality. Those are the two sources that oppose divine revelation. So, we always have a choice between these three souces. Remember that Christ is the Light Who lights every person. He’s always there. We only need to acknowledge Him, receive and submit to what He is giving us, and thank Him for it.
