We choose between insanity and divine revelation. That’s the real choice
We choose between insanity and divine revelation. That’s the real choice. God, in His mercy, doesn’t allow the consequences to fall immediately. People can fail to acknowledge and thank Him for a while, and He still holds out His hand to them. However, the sequence of events mentioned in the first chapter of Romans in the Bible eventually takes hold, and people walk into darkness. That darkness is a form of insanity so deadly that they lose the distinction between good and evil. They can’t tell reality from make-believe. That’s what we now see in a society that has decided not to acknowledge God. Anything good comes from God. Any rational thought comes from God. As you continue to read through that first chapter of Romans, you can see a few of the many problems that come from refusing to acknowledge God’s goodness. People didn’t recognize that ALL wisdom, knowledge, understanding, goodness, love, and kindness come from God, and they become prey for counterfeits of all of these that come to them from evil demons. Look around you and see the effects happening. Take heed and turn to Jesus in thanksgiving. As we glorify Him and listen to His voice, He begins to change us so we can discern. We begin to have a clear vision so we can see what’s right and what’s wrong.
