Your fleshly nature is a slave to sin. Your fleshly nature can’t do anything right. God is setting you free. When He’s finished, God will fully redeem you and set you free from sin and the sinful nature of your flesh. He’ll set you free from the demonic principalities and powers that have been your slave masters. God will even redeem your body.
we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. ~ Romans 8:23b
God sets you free through His Living Word. He speaks to you. You listen. Faith comes. Faith gives you access to grace. Grace does His works through you. The Love of God is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost. He plants the Seed (His Living Word) in your heart. The fleshly nature dies a bit. Christ (His Living Word) is formed in you more completely.
