The person who is adopted must be a born son. The Bible uses the word “son,” but it applies to men and women. In the Scripture, adoption is placing a mature son into a position of authority in the family business. That’s why born again Christians are waiting for the adoption. And that adoption is the redemption of our bodies.

Consider the three-stewards parable. Two stewards took the risk and invested the gold they had been given. Gold is a type of deity. They invested. One steward played it safe and lost what he had. Don’t play it safe.

Sometimes, when you walk with God, you will make mistakes. You will look like a fool. And yet, God honors the fact that you trust Him. You aren’t afraid to go ahead when you sense the Holy Spirit leading. Your carnal nature has great pride and never wants to make a mistake. Fear comes in and clamps down on the Holy Spirit. Pride-driven fear wants to play it safe. Step out when God tells you to step out. Through obedience and trust, God will develop confidence and discernment in you.

When God gives you something, stand by it. The enemy will test it. Do not waver. The enemy will mock through brothers and sisters in Christ. Stay faithful. Stand strong. You can come back to God and ask Him whether you got it wrong, but receive the confirmation in spite of the physical evidence. Don’t give up on the brink of a miracle.

You are seeking the One Almighty Triune Creator God.

When you seek Jesus Christ, be very specific. You aren’t seeking a god. You are seeking the One Almighty Triune Creator God. Some people may not understand what those words mean yet, but they will understand very quickly.

Evil spirits exist, and they are dangerous. On the other hand, God promises that He will give us the Holy Spirit if we ask for the Holy Spirit. He won’t give us a demon. He knows how to communicate. If we turn to Jesus, we can’t go wrong. If we don’t turn to Jesus, we can’t go right. You will not use New Age techniques. New Age techniques use relaxation exercises and mind-blanking exercises that open the door for evil spirits. That’s why you must seek Jesus Christ specifically. Without Jesus, it’s impossible to know the truth because He is the truth.

Some people refuse to seek and find Jesus because they want to keep doing what they want to do. Without Jesus, they will be deceived to some extent. They will walk into darkness, and there are many levels of darkness for them to descend into. That’s one of the reasons the most important thing anyone can learn is to know Jesus Christ.

Why is it important for you to know the difference between God’s voice and other voices?
How is your connection to God different from other things you learn?
What does it mean for you to seek Jesus Christ specifically?

The ministry is Christ in you. The Christ in you is your ministry. It has nothing to do with the natural or any natural abilities, although Christ may use your natural ability. In the end, the natural will fade and give way to the Spirit of Christ.

Many Christians mean “an organization” when they speak of “a ministry.” In the Bible, a ministry is Christ in you. The ministry grows out of the gift, which is Christ in you. The gift was given through prophecy and the laying on of hands of a presbytery. The presbytery is a gathering of elders God has called for the purpose of laying on hands and imparting spiritual gifts. Gifts are active in Christians without this impartation, but the impartation always gives more clarity and authority to the gift. A word of warning: some have taken it on themselves to lay on hands and prophesy over people when God never called them for that work.
