If anything is added to the premises on the way to the conclusion, that’s a fallacy. Invalid forms add information on the way to the conclusion in sneaky ways. if the premise doesn’t prove the conclusion, something got added on the way to the conclusion.

Because God asks us not to add to His words or diminish His words through theories, unrevealed theologies, or other forms of speculation. Whatever does not come by divine revelation is made-up stuff. Adding made-up stuff to our thinking or speaking is insanity. That’s why.
